BREAKING: Garnacho Orders Agent to Tell Chelsea Boss Enzo Maresca – “I Want the Move!”

Alejandro Garnacho has reportedly made Chelsea his top choice for a summer move after a dramatic falling out with Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim.

The 20-year-old Argentine winger, valued at around £50million, has been told to find a new club following growing tensions behind the scenes at Old Trafford. His future now looks increasingly likely to be away from Manchester – with Stamford Bridge his preferred destination.

Garnacho’s management team have previously been spotted at a Chelsea match this season, fuelling speculation that a move to the Blues has long been on the cards. Now, reports suggest Garnacho has instructed his agent to let Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca know he wants to stay in the Premier League and become a key figure in the young and talented Blues squad.

A source close to the player told SunSport: “Alejandro knows the Premier League is the best in the world. And while he’s had some good moments at United, he wants to establish himself as a world star. England is the best place to do that and Chelsea have assembled a lot of good young players.”

The winger, who also has interest from Italian side Napoli, appears determined to remain in English football, despite his rocky ending with United. Tensions reportedly reached boiling point after Garnacho described United’s season as “s**t” following their 1-0 Europa League final defeat to Tottenham on May 21.

His blunt comments were said to have angered some of his United teammates, who saw the post-match interview as a deliberate attempt to force an exit.

One insider added: “Garnacho seems to think he’s the next Ronaldo and this was his ‘exit interview’ moment – like he wanted to annoy people so much that there was no option but to sell him. It’s not gone down well with the rest of the players. There’s a feeling that while he’s a good player, he’s not quite as good as he thinks he is.”

On United’s post-season tour of Asia, Garnacho was spotted cutting a frustrated figure – reportedly refusing to engage with fans and avoiding interviews.

Despite the controversy, Garnacho has been productive on the pitch, registering 21 goal contributions this season. But his exclusion from the starting XI in the Europa League final appears to have been the final straw in his relationship with Amorim.

Garnacho joined Manchester United from Atletico Madrid in 2020 and was tipped as one of the club’s brightest prospects. However, with his time at Old Trafford looking increasingly over, Chelsea could now be ready to swoop in and add another exciting young talent to their ranks.
