Jadon Sancho Could Reunite with Coach he fell out with in Stunning Transfer Twist
Jadon Sancho’s rollercoaster career could be heading back to Germany, with Bayer Leverkusen now eyeing a surprise summer move for the Manchester United winger.

After a quiet loan spell at Chelsea and an uncertain future at Old Trafford, Sancho may once again look abroad to rediscover the form that once made him one of Europe’s brightest young stars.

Leverkusen, Bundesliga champions and one of Europe’s most exciting teams this season, are said to be seriously considering making a move for the 25-year-old, who previously lit up the league during his time at Borussia Dortmund.

Sancho racked up an impressive 40 goals and 47 assists in 118 appearances for Dortmund before his big-money transfer to Manchester United in 2021. But things haven’t quite worked out in England.

His return to form has stalled at Chelsea, where he managed just three goals and five assists in 30 league appearances this season. The London club are still undecided about triggering a permanent deal and will hold talks after the campaign ends.

Dortmund out, Serie A interested
Meanwhile, Dortmund, where Sancho enjoyed his best football, are believed to have passed on the opportunity to bring him back once more. Serie A sides have also shown interest, offering him yet another possible escape route from a frustrating few years in the Premier League.

One interesting twist in the tale could be who ends up managing Bayer Leverkusen next season. Xabi Alonso is heading to Real Madrid, and Leverkusen are currently reviewing potential replacements. Among the names on their shortlist? Erik ten Hag – the very manager Sancho fell out with at Manchester United.

If the Dutch coach does end up in charge, it’s likely Leverkusen’s interest in Sancho will quickly disappear. Ten Hag froze Sancho out of the United squad following a reported breakdown in their relationship, and the winger’s exit was seen as inevitable ever since.

Manchester United are expected to offload several players this summer, and Sancho is high on the list. The club is under pressure to raise funds and reshape the squad, and moving on a player who has never quite delivered in red seems increasingly likely.
