Patrick Dorgu Names Two Manchester United Stars Who Make Playing “Easy” After Big Europa League Win
Manchester United secured a convincing 4-1 victory over Real Sociedad on Thursday night, securing their place in the Europa League quarter-finals. It was a wonderful performance from the United squad, with several players standing out.

United didn’t start the game well, conceding an early penalty that Mikel Oyarzabal converted. However, they quickly equalized when Rasmus Højlund won a penalty at the other end, which Bruno Fernandes neatly tapped in.

Fernandes was the star of the night, scoring two more goals in the second half—one from the penalty spot after Patrick Dorgu was fouled, and another with a brilliant strike to complete his hat-trick. Diogo Dalot added the final goal late on, sealing the impressive win for the Red Devils.

20-year-old Patrick Dorgu, who played a key role on the left wing, was one of United’s standout performers. After the game, he spoke highly of two of his teammates—Bruno Fernandes and Casemiro—mentioning how their quality makes the game easier for him.

“It’s obviously nice to play with these players. They have so much quality on the ball, and it’s easy for other players to connect with them,” Dorgu told club media.

“They are finding me well, and I will keep doing it. When you play with good teammates who can find you in behind or to your feet, it’s easy to play.”

United manager Ruben Amorim made a bold decision by sticking with Casemiro in midfield instead of Manuel Ugarte, who had just returned from injury. That choice turned out to be the right one, as Casemiro delivered a brilliant performance.

The 33-year-old might not be at his peak anymore, but he showed that he still has the ability to control games—especially in the Europa League, where the tempo suits him. His performance was so good that Old Trafford gave him a standing ovation when he was substituted late in the game.

With United aiming to win the Europa League, Casemiro could still have a big role to play in their journey to the final.
