Just minutes into the second half, Chelsea’s attack came to life. Marc Cucurella and Christopher Nkunku, who had just come on, combined brilliantly down the left wing. They worked the ball forward before Nkunku delivered a smart cutback to Reece James.
The Chelsea captain, who was playing in midfield instead of his usual right-back position, struck the ball with precision. It wasn’t the hardest shot, but it was placed so perfectly that the Copenhagen goalkeeper couldn’t keep it out at his near post.
